General Information About Advertising
Welcome to CounselingSeattle.com.
This site receives about 36,454 Absolute Unique Visitors (Google
Analytics March 2008) each month. Some visited more than once so
there were a total of 40,964 visits and 92,394 page-views.
Of these monthly visitors,
1,963 visited the counselor locator page and looked at it 3,399
times. Hundreds of others entered (via search engines) directly to the counselor pages for specific
cities. It's not surprising that the page for Tacoma counselors gets 446 unique visitors a month.
My name is Floyd Else. I am a retired licensed mental health counselor with 18 years
of experience in individual and group therapy, and the webmaster for
CounselingSeattle.com--serving both counselors and mental health consumers in all
the counties around the State of Washington.
[But why should I advertise
on a site with the name "Seattle"?]
As webmaster of a mental health counseling site, I define my most
important job duty as
“helping counselors make money.” I help counselors in many ways, including maintaining a powerful
website that ranks high in search engine results and helping potential
clients find counselors and therapy groups.
As a counselor, I frequently receive therapy-group brochures mailed to me
from counselors who are hoping to fill their groups with referrals
from other counselors. I usually don’t have a current client who needs the
group so I toss the brochures. If a need arises later, I can’t remember
who had the group—or whether it’s still meeting.
How can a counselor advertise his therapy group or workshop? Newspaper ads
are too expensive. A one-inch ad in the Yellow Pages costs over $800 a year!
There is no way to send mail directly to all the potential clients in your
area. Fortunately, more and more people begin their search for
products and services on the internet.
But your counseling business does not need a
separate web site to benefit from the
immediacy and impact of the Internet. All you need is a
CounselingSeattle.com advertisement. Even if you have your own web
site, it is one of more than 40 million web sites on the Internet. Can
clients find you? However, if your powerful CounselingSeattle.com private
practice listing is linked to your personal site, then the public can also be
referred from CounselingSeattle.com to your personal website information.
Counselors with first-hand experience
advertising on CounselingSeattle.com can tell you why counselors and
their potential clients are turning to CounselingSeattle.com
to advertise their private practices, their therapy groups, workshops and
counseling office space for rent.
I understand your business and anticipate
and respond to your needs. I want help you make money by helping your
potential clients to find your private practice, your therapy group, your
counselor training workshop or your rental office space. The fee
from the first visit by your first client referred by
CounselingSeattle.com private practice advertisement may pay for your ad
for the first full year!
