Welcome to CounselingSeattle.com.  This site receives about 36,454 Absolute Unique Visitors (Google Analytics March 2008) each month.  Some visited more than once so there were a total of 40,964 visits and 92,394 page-views.

Of these monthly visitors, 1,963 visited the counselor locator page and looked at it 3,399 times.  Hundreds of others entered (via search engines) directly to the counselor pages for specific cities.  It's not surprising that the page for Tacoma counselors gets 446 unique visitors a month.

My name is Floyd Else. I am a retired licensed mental health counselor with 18 years of experience in individual and group therapy, and the  webmaster for CounselingSeattle.com--serving both counselors and mental health consumers in all the counties around the State of Washington.  [But why should I advertise on a site with the name "Seattle"?]

As webmaster of a mental health counseling site, I define my most important job duty as “helping counselors make money.” I help counselors in many ways, including maintaining a powerful website that ranks high in search engine results and helping potential clients find counselors and therapy groups.

As a counselor, I frequently receive therapy-group brochures mailed to me from counselors who are hoping to fill their groups with referrals from other counselors.  I usually don’t have a current client who needs the group so I toss the brochures.  If a need arises later, I can’t remember who had the group—or whether it’s still meeting.

Log-In to Place an Advertisement Once you have reviewed this material and decided to place an advertisement or to open an existing account and edit account information or set up or edit an ad, go to the upper right hand corner of the CounselingSeattle.com home page.  Find the "Counselor / Advertiser log-in" link.  Just click on it to open your existing account or to create an account--and set up, edit or cancel an advertisement.

Counselor Private Practice Listings: A basic counselor listing is $8.98 each month charged to your credit card from date of publication until the counselor listing is cancelled.  You can upload a photo of yourself or link to your website.  An email link will take potential clients to a CounselingSeattle.com email form and forward the person's inquiry along with their telephone number.  A second listing in another city is an additional $8.98.  [Minimum requirement to be listed is a masters degree, plus Washington State counselor registration, certification, or licensure.] The premium counselor listing is a basic listing with a Niche Specialty© listing.  This has a additional, one-time $41.00 set-up fee.

Therapy Group Ad: $10.00 is charged to your credit card each month until the ad is cancelled by the advertiser.                                                       New rate effective 1/1/2009.

Counselor Training Workshop Ad: $11.00 is charged to your credit card each month until the ad is cancelled by the advertiser.                            New rate effective 1/1/2009.

Counseling Office Space For Rent or Group Room Space Ad: $10 is charged to your credit card each month until the ad is cancelled by the advertiser.
